I’m so different from God

My last resort is to own up to my sin, God’s first resort is to forgive my sin.

Finally, I confessed all my sins to you and stopped trying to hide my guilt. I said to myself, “I will confess my rebellion to the Lord.” And you forgave me! All my guilt is gone.
PSALM 32:5 NLT

How to Destroy a Work of God

Response of a leader to the message I gave of the enemies 3 tactics to destroy a ministry.

Dear Richard, I don’t know whether to laugh or cry with gratitude. Your word was EXACTLY what we needed today. You actually whispered some lies that people have actually said to me (about themselves) in the last horrendous year.

I was warmed in my heart to note that when I have wanted to throw my
arms up in despair I DID Talk to God in desperation, I DID make people
in hot disagreement sit down with me a talk, and I DID talk scripture to the enemy when intimidated enough to fear for my life!

I know now I can watch and see him turn away in fear and loss of self confidence…. for our hope is in God! HE will not let us down.

I KNEW God had something wonderful to say to us, when you offered.
Thank you for hearing Him so well.

Never get bored

Just hit me that I will never get bored doing this one thing everyday from today for the rest of my life.

The ONE thing I ask of the Lord—
the thing I seek most—
is to live in the house of the Lord ALL the days of my life,
delighting in the Lord’s perfections
and meditating in his Temple.
PSALM 27:4

Come to think of it. These 42 years since I first delighted in God, I have never got bored. Never run out of fresh angles on the perfections of God.

Too small

If think you think you are to small to make a difference,
spend a night with a mosquito.

Pondering Psalm 1 this morning

Unstable, stale and unproductive is promised me if I am not in the Book.

Stable, fresh and fruitful is assured me if I delight in His Word and keeping chewing it over.

If you want to help meet the needs of others:

Listen with your ear to God before you talk with your tongue to others.

The Sovereign Lord has given me a well-instructed tongue,
to know the word that sustains the weary.
He wakens me morning by morning,
wakens my ear to listen like one being instructed.
Isaiah 50:4 NIV
