SPEAKER (Jesus) STEPS SLOWLY AND CAREFULLY UP THE LADDER AND LIFTS UP
HIS HANDS
All this beauty and harmony, all this power and majesty.
Father it is wonderful to be here sharing this glory with you.
This glory that we have shared from all eternity. (PAUSE)
What’s that Father?
You want me to step down and give up my GLORY? (PAUSE)
To give up knowing all things?
To give up being everywhere?
To give up having the power to do everything? (PAUSE)
You want me to become a tiny seed placed in the womb of a
teenage girl? (PAUSE)
Father, if that is what you asking,
I will step down and give up my GLORY (PAUSE)

What is that Father? You want me to step down again and give up any STATUS in life?
To become a servant, Father? (PAUSE)
I who have owned everything with you, will have nothing.
No title, no possessions, no rights! (PAUSE)
Foxes have holes and birds of the air have nests but the Son of Man will have no place to lay
his head. (PAUSE)
If that is what you are asking Father,
then I will step down and give up any STATUS (PAUSE)

What is that Father?
You want me to step down further.
You want me to give up my LIFE? (PAUSE)
To be stripped, beaten, spat upon!
Father you want me to be crucified as a common criminal?
Do you know what you are asking, Father? (PAUSE)
You will turn your back on me and leave me in utter darkness!
Not listen to me! Not talk to me! (PAUSE)
But Father, we have never been separated!
And you will choose to have nothing to do with me?
It that what you are asking? (PAUSE)
Father, not my will be done but your will be done.
I will step down and give up my LIFE. (PAUSE)
