“Something just happened in my heart.”

On our last day in the Netherlands, I walked into our Riverboat Cafe. Two of the 25 Bible School students that I had given the One Wish training to a week before, came up to me. “We have just shared the gospel with the wristband and Noah is ready to trust in Christ. Can you do that part?”
I asked Noah if he was ready to take God’s hand. He said he was and I led him in prayer. He asked forgiveness for His sin, took God’s hand and said that he wanted to go God’s way not his way. After he had prayed, I looked at him. I could clearly see Noah was earnest. “Something just happened in my heart,” he said. I knew he had been born again.

Meeting Jan & Martien Today

Jan & Martien came onboard the Riverboat berthed in Dortrecht, Netherlands at 7:30 this morning to fix the lift. Over coffee, I gave them each a One Wish wristband and said that later after their work, I would like to show them what the four pictures meant. Later this morning over a second cup, I explained the four pictures. Folding his arms over his heart, Jan (on the left) said that he was once like me with the Lord, but so many bad things had happened in his life, that his heart was closed. But Martien’s heart was wide open and he prayed with me to put his trust in the Lord.

Welcome to the Riverboat

Welcome to the Riverboat — OM’s new project on the Rhine River in The Netherlands. We have joined the OM team of 80 reaching out and mobilizing the church in missions for the month of January. The boat will sail onto Germany in February and France in March. Thanks for your prayers.
