Rainy, cold and strong winds kept us from going out this morning on outreach during our weekend of ministry in Booneville, Arkansas.
But God brought Freda to our door. After giving her some soup and a sandwich, it was a joy to watch my OM colleague, Dick Griffin, lead her to the Lord.

Hello Richard,
I have written a short version of what I remember:
We walked slowly to the back of the brick village house extending our hello’s in Portughese, the language of Mozombique. Slowly a young girl emerged from the door and politely greeted us with a shy smile. Our team of three introduced ourselves and learned that her name was Christina. For a moment I didn’t know what to say or how to begin to speak with her. Suddenly, I noticed the One Wish writsband that I was wearing. Though I had never tried to use it before, I extended my hand to her and asked, ” Do you know what this picture is?”The local pastor who was with me translated her reply, “It’s a diamond.”
I said to her, “Do you know that you are a diamond?”
When she shook her head in bewilderment the door was wide open for me to share the love of God with her. After the story on my wristband was finished, I asked her if she wanted to become God’s child, and she nodded to me with tears in her eyes. I will never forget that prayer, for it was the most simple and precious one I have ever heard. I quickly slipped the band onto her wrist saying, “Never forget that you are God’s child and what He has done for you.”
In an instant I had gained a new sister, in this faraway country of Mozombique.
Thanks for the tools you have taught us, and I hope to meet you again one day. Have a merry Christmas! 😀
God Bless,
Natalie Moyer

Enjoyed good coffee and churros in Kakao Cafe this morning, a stone throw away from our OM US base in Tyrone, Georgia, and shared with some folk about One Wish.

On a day that Dyfan, from England, had intended to spend an undisturbed day on board the ship, in Port Elizabeth, South Africa, he found himself ending up in a prison cell sharing the Gospel with three juvenile delinquents.
His friend and fellow crewmember, Tom, who works in Logos Hope’s book fair, had befriended a visitor while helping to take a picture. It turned out that the visitor works as a magistrate in the city. He offered to take Tom and Dyfan out for some sightseeing and even invited them to the judicial centre where he works. At the centre, Dyfan met three young men who were in custody and awaiting sentencing for various crimes.
His first thought was to pray for them, which he did. Then, as he was about to leave the centre, he felt a tugging in his heart – a feeling that he had forgotten something. Returning to the cells, he realised he was wearing his “One Wish” bracelet, a tool to help share the message of the Gospel, even though he wasn’t intending to go off the ship that day. He asked the young men, “Do you know this Jesus that I just prayed about?” They didn’t, but wanted to hear more. Dyfan happily took the cue to share the love of God and the message of hope in Christ.
That afternoon, the three young men decided to follow Jesus. Dyfan was even allowed to enter the cell and pray with them as they took this step of faith. “I wasn’t intending to do anything that day, but God surprised me with this situation and used me,” said Dyfan, amazed at God’s plans.
