While You Were Sleeping
Out and about with my team in Santa Marta, Columbia this morning. People began reading our ‘Un Deseo’ (One Wish) leaflet in Spanish as soon as they received it. Except one man.

Hello Richard,
I have written a short version of what I remember:
We walked slowly to the back of the brick village house extending our hello’s in Portughese, the language of Mozombique. Slowly a young girl emerged from the door and politely greeted us with a shy smile. Our team of three introduced ourselves and learned that her name was Christina. For a moment I didn’t know what to say or how to begin to speak with her. Suddenly, I noticed the One Wish writsband that I was wearing. Though I had never tried to use it before, I extended my hand to her and asked, ” Do you know what this picture is?”The local pastor who was with me translated her reply, “It’s a diamond.”
I said to her, “Do you know that you are a diamond?”
When she shook her head in bewilderment the door was wide open for me to share the love of God with her. After the story on my wristband was finished, I asked her if she wanted to become God’s child, and she nodded to me with tears in her eyes. I will never forget that prayer, for it was the most simple and precious one I have ever heard. I quickly slipped the band onto her wrist saying, “Never forget that you are God’s child and what He has done for you.”
In an instant I had gained a new sister, in this faraway country of Mozombique.
Thanks for the tools you have taught us, and I hope to meet you again one day. Have a merry Christmas! 😀
God Bless,
Natalie Moyer
After a twelve day sail from Spain, a huge wave at 4am welcomed us to Guyana (Latin America).
On the weekend of December 10-11th the Michael Knight Trust is sponsoring a One Wish Christmas Tent in the Carlisle City Centre, England. Decorated like our living room complete with a Christmas tree, fire and antique chairs, we will welcome people with hot spiced apple juice and shortbreads, and ask “If you had one wish that God could do for you this Christmas, what would it be?”
On this momentous Election night, forty of us went out to asked people out in the local shopping areas, “if you could wish one thing from God for America, what would that be?” We had all kinds of responses and offered a one sentence prayer for their one wish. After praying, we gave a one wish gospel leaflet, saying, “This is God’s one wish for you on this Election Day.”
Some of our One Wish team last weekend at Tyrone Founders Day weekend helping twenty people take God’s hand of friendship.
If you could wish one thing from God today for you Niki, what would that be?
“I would serve God with all my heart to bring others to know him,” she responded.
I prayed a sentence prayer for her one wish. Then giving her my wristband, I invited her to watch the video on my website www.OneWish4U.com to see the way to share Christ with the four pictures on her wristband.
“I am going to watch the video first thing in my lunch break. In my three years at Best Buy I have never had a conversation like this nor had someone pray for me.”
Enjoyed good coffee and churros in Kakao Cafe this morning, a stone throw away from our OM US base in Tyrone, Georgia, and shared with some folk about One Wish.
